3. A Tour of neoVI MIC 2 Hardware
3.1. Case and Overall Design
The neoVI MIC 2 is enclosed in a lightweight plastic case. The device has been designed and tested for in- vehicle use, and is operational in a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The USB Type A connector plugs into the USB Host Port of many Intrepid products. The neoVI MIC 2 has an integrated belt clip for easy attachment to a seat belt or visor while driving.
3.1.1. Front side of the case
You will find a trigger button, speaker, microphone and status LEDs for USB connection, recording and GPS.

3.1.2. Back side of the case: You will find an integrated belt clip and serial number sticker.

3.2. GPS (if integrated)
The neoVI MIC 2 may be supplied with an internal GPS. This GPS does not use an external antenna. GPS data will appear automatically when using the neoVI MIC 2. No additional configuration is needed to get the GPS information to report. If your device does not report GPS when you are using it, your neoVI MIC 2 does not have integrated GPS.
